To what degree do you know who your perfect client is and have your entire business shaped around them?*

I know exactly who my ideal client is, and all my services are specifically based on what they need and designed to get them the results they seek.

I have an idea of who my ideal client is, but I still accept almost any client that comes my way.

I don't really know who my ideal client is. I'm open to working with anybody and try to get as many clients as I can.

To what degree do you know the language your bullseye clients use to describe their pains, problems, goals, and desires, and use these words in your marketing and sales processes?*

I have a system for collecting the actual language my ideal clients use. I consistently use their words in all of my marketing and sales processes.

I don’t have a good system to capture the words my ideal clients use. I try to use some of these words in my marketing sometimes, but it’s a struggle.

I market myself primarily by talking about what I do. I have not thought about including words my ideal clients use in my marketing.

To what extent do you offer invitations to potential clients and have a series of stepping stones to lead them to become a client?*

I have a consultation process in place that every single person goes through. I follow a clear process to convert my leads into prospects into clients.

I have a vague consultation process. I don’t always use it and it doesn't always produce results. I get many rejections and people who “ghost” after talking to me.

I have no consultation process in place. Anybody can become a client by just booking a session.

Do You Offer the Right Package / Program / Plan?

To what extent do you know the specific steps that your ideal client needs to take to reach their goals, and how much of that is built into your work with clients?*

I have a well-designed program, plan, or package to help my clients achieve specific goals. There is a clear process and timeline to work with, as well as clearly outlined milestones clients can aspire to reach along the way.

I know vaguely what my clients need to do to achieve their specific goals, but I do not have a clear program or package that addresses it. People may buy a single session or a pack of sessions and I have to try to convince them to rebook each time.

I sell individual sessions to clients and have no clear plan to help my clients reach their goals. In each session I figure out what I’m doing based on what’s going on with the client on that day. I hope that they’ll rebook more sessions.

To what extent is your pricing for clients based on calculations for profitability?*

I have considered my business expenses, my pay, and other costs. I worked backward to determine my pricing, and have a steady regular income.

My pricing is somewhat random. I did not consider business expenses and my pay in coming up with my pricing. I am not struggling financially, but unexpected expenses may put a strain on my income.

I guessed how I should price my services. I have not considered my business expenses in pricing and only take home what’s leftover after paying my bills.

To what extent do you collect videos or written stories from your clients about the transformational journey they've taken (their before and after)?*

I collect detailed written accounts and/or videos from every client about the transformation they have experienced from working with me. I record their before-and-after stories which are published on my website, google business profile, and other online directories.

I ask clients for testimonials and they often talk about me or the experience of working with me, rather than their own before-and-after stories. These are published on my website.

I have very few or no testimonials from clients or do not ask clients for videos and/or written stories talking about their transformation.

Do You Have a Predictable Sales Process?

To what extent do you have a filter or pre-qualification process in place to ensure you only have a consultation with right-fit clients?*

Prospects can only book a consultation with me after going through a thorough pre-qualification process and meeting all my criteria for a perfect client.

I have some criteria I use to determine if the lead would be an ideal client. I sometimes accept consultations without pre-qualifying the lead.

I don’t have a pre-qualification process. Anyone can book a consultation call or session with me.

To what extent do you have a process to nurture, prime, and prepare a prospect before the consultation?*

I have a meaningful process to connect and communicate with potential clients before they arrive at the consultation, through a series of emails, videos, or other forms of communication.

I have a vague process to connect with potential clients before the consultation call but I either do not always follow through with it, or there are gaps in the process. I am not convinced that this communication is effective.

I don’t have a process to prepare and prime a prospect before a consultation. Usually, the consultation is the first point of communication I have with them.

To what extent do you connect and convert your leads to clients in a consultation?*

I am confident in my consultation process and know exactly how to connect and convert with prospects. 80% or more of people who have a consultation become clients.

I do consultations but am not quite sure how to conduct them or often find myself “winging it”. I am not confident that I am using the consultation session well to connect and convert prospects.

I don't have a consultation. My clients buy sessions directly without having a consultation beforehand.
